Description
Replace a failed compatible ignition coil with the genuine Generac 0G3224TB Generator Ignition Coil. Designed for select Generac generator engines, this equipment-specific component supplies the high voltage required to produce a spark at the spark plug.
A failing ignition coil may contribute to difficult starting, intermittent ignition, misfiring, or an engine that will not run. Similar symptoms can also result from damaged wiring, incorrect spark-plug gaps, faulty control components, or other engine problems, so proper diagnosis is recommended before replacement.

Turn off the generator and follow the manufacturer’s complete shutdown procedure before beginning work. Disconnect utility power, generator output, and the starting battery as applicable, then allow the engine to cool.
Ignition coils can produce hazardous high voltage. Installation and diagnosis should be performed with the ignition system de-energized. Follow the engine service manual for the required mounting position, air gap, wiring connections, and fastener torque.
After installation, inspect the ignition wiring and spark plug and verify proper starting and engine operation. Installation by a qualified generator technician is recommended.
Verify the generator model, engine model, serial number, connector configuration, and original coil number before ordering.
