Maintenance Guidance:

Maintenance is commonly recommended according to operating hours and elapsed time, with more frequent service when the generator operates in dusty or demanding conditions. Follow the exact schedule in the generator owner’s manual.

Turn off the generator, disable automatic starting, disconnect the starting battery as directed, and allow the engine to cool before maintenance.

Install the air filter in the correct orientation and securely close the air-cleaner housing. Check the spark-plug gap before installation and tighten the plug to the engine manufacturer’s specified torque.

Use the funnel when adding the oil type and quantity specified in the owner’s manual. Record the service date on the included reminder sticker and verify the generator’s complete model and serial numbers before ordering.
