Description
Replace a failed compatible voltage regulator with the Generac 0F97190SRV Service Assembly. This electronic regulator supersedes the discontinued Generac 0F9719 PCB voltage regulator used in select air-cooled generator applications, including certain units manufactured around 2006.
The voltage regulator helps control generator excitation and maintain output voltage within the required operating range. A faulty regulator may contribute to low, high, unstable, or absent output voltage; however, similar symptoms can also be caused by wiring, brushes, windings, connections, or other electrical components. Proper diagnosis is recommended before replacement.
Product Features:
• Generac voltage-regulator service replacement
• Replaces discontinued part number 0F9719
• Designed for select air-cooled generator systems

Part-Number Information:
• Current service part: 0F97190SRV
• Replaces: 0F9719
• Previous description: PCB voltage-regulator assembly for select air-cooled generators
Product Information:
• Brand: Generac
• Part number: 0F97190SRV
• Product type: Generator voltage regulator
• Application: Select air-cooled Generac generators
• Production application: Certain 2006-era units
• Quantity: 1
• Fitment type: Equipment-specific
Installation Information:
Generator voltage regulators are connected to potentially lethal generator output voltage and sensitive electrical components. Diagnosis and installation should be completed by a qualified generator technician.
Before servicing, follow the manufacturer’s shutdown procedure and isolate utility power, generator output, and battery power. After installation, the technician should verify wiring, output voltage, frequency, excitation, and operation under appropriate test conditions.
