Installation Information:
Allow the engine to cool completely before opening the cooling system. Drain the coolant to the appropriate level, disconnect all generator power sources, and clean the mating surfaces before installing the replacement housing.
Use the correct gasket and tightening procedure specified in the generator service manual. Inspect the thermostat, hoses, sensors, fasteners, and adjoining water-inlet housing during service. Refill the system with the approved coolant, remove trapped air, and check carefully for leaks.
